Size Guide

Your pet should be able to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably inside the carrier. Measure:

• Length — from nose to base of tail + 10cm
• Height — standing shoulder height + 10cm

When in doubt, size up. A slightly larger carrier is better than a cramped one.

Familiarisation: Reducing Travel Anxiety

The RSPCA recommends leaving the carrier out at home as a regular resting spot for your cat, with a blanket that smells familiar. This turns the carrier from a source of anxiety into a safe den.

Air Travel with Pets

Each airline has specific requirements — generally carriers must fit under the seat in front (typically 45x35x25cm), be ventilated on two or more sides, and have a waterproof base. Always check your airline's pet policy before purchasing.
